Dr. Solin Saleh obtained her undergraduate and medical training at the University of Saskatchewan and subsequently completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Ottawa, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Saleh then attended Stanford University where she completed her fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus. She has a passion for clinical and surgical teaching and was awarded The Department of Ophthalmology Teaching Award twice during her residency.
Dr. Saleh also has a strong interest in clinical research, having published numerous peer-reviewed articles, presented at national and international conferences, and received several research awards. She cares for both pediatric and adult patients, with special interests in strabismus and cataract surgery in both populations.
Dr. Solin Saleh is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa, specializing in pediatric ophthalmology, adult strabismus, and cataract surgery.
