Dr. Fahim earned his medical degree in Cairo, Egypt, and completed an ophthalmology residency at a military hospital, earning a Master’s degree during his training. He then moved to the UK, where he trained and worked as an ophthalmologist, achieving his FRCS. In 2001, Dr. Fahim relocated to Canada but found it difficult to re-enter ophthalmology. Instead, he pursued Family Medicine, earning his CCFP. He now describes himself as a “Family Doctor Practicing in Ophthalmology” and takes particular enjoyment in performing office procedures.
