Dr. Ioannis Dimopoulos earned his Doctor of Medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, pursued additional training at the University of Alberta, and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Ottawa. He is passionate about advancing vision care through both clinical practice and research, particularly in complex retinal conditions. For Dr. Dimopoulos, making a meaningful difference in his patients’ lives is deeply fulfilling.
Dr. Ioannis Dimopoulos specializes in cataract surgery, medical retina and inherited retinal diseases and is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa.
