The roots of iCare Surgical Centre date back to the 1970s, when the original eye clinic was established by Dr. Robert Brown. Through the decades, the practice evolved under new leadership and in the 1990s became known as Carleton Eye Care Centre. In 2014, the clinic transitioned to its current location in Fairlawn Plaza and was re-established as iCare Surgical Centre, co-founded by Dr. Adil Bhatti and Dr. Kevin Smith. Following Dr. Smith’s retirement, Dr. Bhatti  leads the centre as the Medical Director, continuing the legacy of excellent patient care.

Today, with 14 doctors and specialists, iCare is proud to offer advanced surgical and ophthalmic care in a welcoming environment where every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for. Our name reflects the values we bring to every interaction.
