Dr. Cody Li practices comprehensive ophthalmology with interests in cataract surgery, cornea/external diseases, glaucoma, and medical retina. He graduated from Queen’s University with duo Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Life Sciences in 2009, Master of Science degree in Physiology in 2011, and a Doctorate of Medicine degree in 2016 when he was awarded the Dr. Avi Wallerstein Award in Ophthalmology. He had also spent a year in Chicago, completing a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences at Rosalind Franklin University of Science and Medicine in 2012. Dr. Li then completed his residency training at McGill University in 2021, where he served as chief resident and was awarded the Resident Cataract Surgery Skills Award and the Highest Academic Achievement Award in his graduating year.

Dr. Li is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society and the Ontario Medical Association. Dr. Li is a native of Ottawa and feels very fortunate to be able to continue his career in his hometown. He provides ophthalmological care in English, French, and Mandarin and maintains hospital privileges at Montfort Hospital.
